Week two: No. 1, cumulative CN¥800M
In its second weekend of July 24–26, 2026, All Wishes Come True! overtook Kung Fu Soccer for the top spot at the Chinese box office, pushing its cumulative total past CN¥800 million (about US$110 million).
Takes the top spot in week two
Variety reported that the film took over the top position at the mainland China box office on the July 24–26 weekend, generating RMB 314.8 million (US$46.3 million) in its second frame for a cumulative total of US$112.5 million; Kung Fu Soccer moved to second place with US$33.9 million in its third weekend.[1]
Cartoon Brew put the weekend take at US$43.8 million — good enough for second place worldwide — and the nine-day gross at US$109.5 million including previews, noting that the film "displaced Stephen Chow's live-action Kung Fu Soccer in the country's top spot" in its second frame.[2]
Deadline likewise ranked the film No. 2 at the global weekend box office behind The Odyssey, estimating US$46.26 million for the frame and a US$112.9 million cumulative through nine days.[3]
Tracking toward CN¥2 billion
China.org.cn reported on July 27 that the film had grossed more than 765 million yuan by the previous day on glowing reviews, and was projected to earn nearly 2 billion yuan (≈US$278 million) over its theatrical run.[4]
Cartoon Brew framed the performance as the latest evidence that animation is now a central part of China's theatrical business: animated films accounted for nearly half of the country's box office revenue in 2025, led by the US$2.2 billion phenomenon Ne Zha 2, while Shanghai Animation Film Studio's hand-drawn Nobody set a 2D record with US$215.3 million.[2]
